My Background:
Collierville is where I call home. My dad owns his own business, Shaul Construction, and that is something I am so thankful for. It has helped shape who I am today; Not only that, but my family too. I've lived in the same house since 5 years old and attended only 3 schools from Kindergarten to Twelfth grade. This most definitely contributed to my love and passion for Collierville, and the small town life. As a young, fun, motherly yet bossy kid, I tried out every activity: from dance and gymnastics to violin and student government (my favorite of all). Each of these things have collaborated to make me, me. In addition to trying activities, different groups of friends, churches, etc, I tried many times to change who I am. From my attempt to change my name to "Anna" in Mrs. Elder's 3rd grade class, to the battle with my body that ensued during middle school. I am currently enrolled at Mississippi State (Go Dawgs!!), majoring in Elementary Education with my focus on early childhood. I am a Phi Mu- love it & have found so many sisters.. (Even a few of my absolute best friends have become sisters. So precious to me!!) In my own little dream, I will marry early and teach Kindergarten in a Shelby County School, but God may have other plans, & I must trust Him. I plan to highlight through this blog the ups and downs of my life and the college experience as I learn more and more about myself every. single. day and truly become (and learn to LOVE!) the woman God made me to be.
